About the role
Service Engineer position involving installation, commission, and calibration of ASMPT SMT equipment such as DEK printers, SIPLACE placement machines, and inspection systems at customer sites. The role includes providing on-site and remote technical support, performing preventive maintenance and repairs, and conducting training sessions for customer engineers, technicians, and operators.
Key responsibilities
- Install, commission, and calibrate ASMPT SMT equipment such as DEK printers, SIPLACE placement machines, and inspection systems at customer sites
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on ASMPT machines to ensure optimal performance
- Provide on-site and remote technical support and problem-solving to customers, including troubleshooting hardware/software issues
- Prepare service reports and maintain accurate maintenance records
- Coordinate with sales and engineering teams to support customer needs and solution development
- Conduct training sessions for customer engineers, technicians, and operators on machine usage, maintenance, and best practices
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field
- Minimum 0-3 years of experience in SMT machine installation, maintenance, SMT processes (DEK, SIPLACE, etc.)
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, network computers, and machine control
- Willingness to travel to customer sites across regions and provide shift support
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to travel overseas
- English proficiency is an advantage
- Advantage if able to speak Chinese language
