Service Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers in Thailand and the APAC region.
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Support machine installation, commissioning, upgrades, and technical service activities.
• Conduct customer training on machine operation, maintenance, and spare parts.
• Perform Installation Qualification (IQ) and Operational Qualification (OQ).
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) at the company’s headquarters in Germany.
• Collaborate with the German headquarters to resolve technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Provide technical advice and service support to the Sales team.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in field service, machine installation, industrial automation, or a related field.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Good command of English, with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good planning and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Willing to travel frequently within Thailand and APAC, including overseas assignments in Germany for up to 4–6 weeks per trip.
• Available to work on weekends and public holidays when required.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong customer service orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in packaging machinery or industrial automation.
• Knowledge of PLC programming, particularly Schneider PLCs.
• Experience with Track & Trace and vision/camera inspection systems.
• German or Chinese language skills are an advantage.
