Position: Service Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical)

Position Overview

Due to our expanding business opportunities in Thailand, we are seeking a highly motivated Service Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical) to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineering services, onsite installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and technical support for industrial electrical and machinery monitoring systems. The role requires hands-on experience in field service, onsite project supervision, coordination with customers and contractors, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform engineering design, installation, configuration, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Supervise onsite installation activities and coordinate with customers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution.
• Control onsite work progress, quality, safety, and schedule in accordance with project requirements.
• Conduct site surveys and provide technical recommendations for project implementation.
• Prepare engineering documentation, technical reports, and service reports.
• Estimate service costs, materials, manpower, and project timelines.
• Support Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT), Startup, and System Handover.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance at customer sites.
• Provide technical support and customer training after project completion.
• Visit customers regularly in Bangkok, Chonburi, Rayong, other provinces, and neighboring countries (including Lao PDR).
• Report project progress, service activities, and technical issues to the Sales Manager and General Manager.
• Maintain the highest standards of Safety, Health, and Environmental (HSE) practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Instrument Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Service Engineering, Project Engineering, Commissioning, Installation, Maintenance, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience working in industrial plants, power plants, oil & gas, petrochemical plants, EPC contractors, or project consulting companies.
• Proven experience in onsite installation, commissioning, site supervision, contractor coordination, and project execution.
• Strong knowledge of Electrical Power Systems, Mechanical Equipment, Industrial Automation, or Instrumentation.
• Good understanding of Electrical Transmission & Distribution Systems is preferred.
• Good communication and customer relationship skills.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Willing to travel throughout Thailand and overseas.
• Strong commitment to safety and safe working practices.

Preferred Qualifications

For Service Electrical Engineer

• Professional Engineering License (Thai Professional Engineer License – COE / "กว.") will be highly preferred.
• Experience with High Voltage (HV), Medium Voltage (MV), Low Voltage (LV), Protection Relay, Switchgear, Transformer, MCC, UPS, Generator, or Power Distribution Systems.
• Experience with projects involving EGAT, PEA, MEA, IPP/SPP, or utility companies will be an advantage.

For Service Mechanical Engineer

• Experience with Vibration Monitoring, Machinery Protection Systems, Condition Monitoring, or Asset Monitoring will be highly preferred.
• Experience with rotating equipment such as Pumps, Compressors, Turbines, Fans, Blowers, or Motors will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of vibration analysis, machinery diagnostics, and predictive maintenance is desirable.

Additional Skills

• Experience using AutoCAD is preferred.
• Able to read and interpret Electrical Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Wiring Diagrams, P&ID, Mechanical Drawings, and Technical Specifications.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
