Service Engineer (Electrical)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer – Electrical with strong hands-on experience in machine installation, electrical commissioning, PLC programming, CNC/HMI programming, and troubleshooting.

Candidates with experience in CNC/VMC, grinding machines, machine tools, industrial automation, or industrial machinery will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and commission electrical systems for machine tools and industrial machinery.
• Perform PLC programming, troubleshooting, and modifications.
• Handle CNC programming, parameter setting, and troubleshooting.
• Configure and troubleshoot HMI systems.
• Perform machine wiring and electrical panel troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot motors, drives, sensors, control systems, and electrical components.
• Conduct machine testing, trial runs, and final commissioning.
• Attend preventive maintenance and breakdown service requirements.
• Diagnose electrical and automation-related faults and provide effective solutions.
• Provide technical support at customer sites.
• Prepare installation, commissioning, and service reports.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams for technical issues.
• Travel extensively to customer locations across India.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and automation.
• PLC programming and troubleshooting is mandatory.
• Knowledge of CNC and HMI programming/configuration.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and circuit diagrams.
• Good knowledge of motors, drives, sensors, control panels, and electrical components.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to work independently at customer sites.
• Willingness to travel extensively across India.

Preferred Experience

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in electrical service, machine installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in PLC/CNC programming and HMI configuration.
• Experience with CNC/VMC, grinding machines, machine tools, or industrial automation equipment will be an added advantage.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be technically strong, customer-oriented, and willing to travel. The candidate should be capable of independently handling machine installation, commissioning, programming, troubleshooting, and customer support.
