Service Engineer – Food Processing & Conveyor Systems

About the Opportunity

 Our client is a leading international engineering solutions provider specializing in conveying and material handling systems for the food processing industry. The company supports food manufacturing facilities across the region with installation, commissioning, maintenance, and technical service solutions.

Due to business expansion, they are looking for a Service Engineer to join their team in Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, commissioning, and start-up activities for conveyor and material handling systems at customer sites.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance services.
• Conduct equipment inspections and identify opportunities for system improvements.
• Support customers during project implementation and operational handover.
• Prepare technical reports, service documentation, and project updates.
• Coordinate with internal engineering and project teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and customer requirements.
• Travel extensively to customer sites across Indonesia and occasionally within the region.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Service Engineer, Field Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or similar technical role.
• Experience working with conveyor systems, material handling equipment, automated production lines, or industrial machinery is preferred.
• Experience within the food processing, food manufacturing, packaging, or related industries is highly advantageous.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer-facing abilities.
• Willing and able to travel more than 60% of the time.
• Basic English communication skills are preferred.
