Service Engineer (High Voltage Systems & Service)

Job Summary

• The Service Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for products and systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. This includes the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment and systems. The role involves working closely with the project management team and customers to ensure their needs are met and that equipment operates at optimal performance levels.

Job Description

• Install, test, maintain, and repair High Voltage Substation systems and equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting, identify technical issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure installation and assembly work meets required standards and specifications.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineering Teams, Suppliers, and Subcontractors.
• Prepare and control technical documents, service reports, and related documentation.
• Monitor project progress, and control project timelines and quality.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Travel to customer sites and project locations as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in Service Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with HV substation systems, such as GIS, AIS, Power Transformers, Circuit Breakers, CT, VT, Disconnecting Switches, Surge Arresters, or SCADA.
• Good command of English.
• Experience in electrical/mechanical troubleshooting.
• Proficient in MS Office and electrical measuring tools.
• Willingness to travel to upcountry or international project sites.
• Valid driving licence and ability to travel for work.

Contract: 1-year contract (with potential for renewal and permanent placement).
Workplace: Charn Issara Tower (near MRT Phetchaburi / BTS Phrom Phong).
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM. Work may be required during holiday periods, as the service role may need to support stations or factories during their shutdown periods.
