Service Engineer - Infrastructure & Server

We are a System Integrator delivering IT infrastructure projects for clients. This role requires strong hands-on skills across system implementation, documentation and ongoing support. You will be involved in the full lifecycle - planning, installation, management, monitoring, troubleshooting and project handover.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deploy and configure Windows servers, virtualization platforms, storage and backup systems for customers
• Maintain network and security infrastructure, covering switching, routing, wifi, firewalls, VPN and SD‑WAN technologies
• Provide Tier‑2 support by troubleshooting server, system, network, and security incidents
• Perform patching, firmware upgrades, firewall reviews, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
• Monitor backup operations and managed-client system health, ensuring timely issue resolution
• Prepare technical documentation, including low‑level designs, implementation/test plans and operational records
• Mentor junior engineersand validate configurations before deployment

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in server, network, security, virtualization, storage or backup infrastructure
• Strong analytical skills with ability to identify problems, track issues, and implement solutions
• Experience in IT project planning and management with solid customer handling skills
• Self‑motivated, proactive, responsible, and customer‑focused
• Able to work independently, collaborate effectively, and perform under pressure
• Good problem-solving with effective communication skills in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
• Industry certifications such as CCNP, Fortinet NSE/FCP, Palo Alto, VMware, Veeam or Microsoft Azure will be an advantage
• Immediate available or short notice is an advantage
