Service Engineer (Mechanical)

About the role

A Service Engineer role focused on site installation, commissioning, customer support, and technical improvement of equipment systems.

Key responsibilities

• Site installation & commissioning – Site install equipment, configure systems, and ensure they operate according to specifications
• Customer support – Respond to customer complaints, provide technical advice, and explain equipment operation
• Documentation – Prepare service reports, maintenance records, inspection reports, and lists of replaced parts
• Technical improvement – Identify recurring failures and recommend improvements to equipment, procedures, or maintenance schedules
• Training – Train customers or operators on proper equipment use, maintenance, and safety procedures
• Safety & compliance – Follow workplace safety procedures, technical standards, and relevant regulations

About you

• Possess a degree in Mechatronic/Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude and drive to succeed as part of a high functioning team
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, managing multiple priorities, both independently and with a team
• Willingness to travel extensively and oversee projects in international or cross-border settings
