Service Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment)

• Position: Service Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment)
• Location: Ang Mo Kio, few bus stops from Yio Chu Kang MRT
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm
• Salary(commensurate on experience) : Up to $4,200 basic + AWS + 14 days annual leave + medical benefits
• Duration: Permanent
• Industry: Semiconductor & Electronics

Main Responsibilities:

• Install, test and commission new equipment at customer sites.
• Perform equipment assembly, servicing, troubleshooting and repair.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, upgrades and technical rectification work.
• Diagnose equipment faults and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Provide technical support and maintain good customer service during site visits.
• Prepare basic service and technical reports.
• Support other technical duties as assigned.
• Attend to after-hours service requirements when operationally necessary.

Requirements:

• NITEC / Higher NITEC in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering, or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of hands-on equipment servicing and repair experience.
• Experience in semiconductor, electronics, automation or industrial equipment will be advantageous.
• Able to perform equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and repair independently.
• Comfortable working at customer sites and supporting after-hours service when required.
• Willing to travel overseas at short notice based on operational requirements.
• Candidates with stronger relevant experience may be considered for a higher-level appointment.
