SERVICE ENGINEER / SERVICE TECHNICIAN

About the role

Service Engineer / Service Technician at Makmur Medical Supplies Sdn Bhd, a leading supplier of medical diagnostic equipment, laboratory instruments and healthcare solutions. The role involves installing, commissioning, testing and maintaining laboratory and medical diagnostic equipment at customer sites and in the workshop, with travel throughout Malaysia required.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission and test laboratory and medical diagnostic equipment
• Perform Preventive Maintenance (PPM) according to company schedules
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment at customer sites and in the workshop
• Diagnose electrical, electronic and mechanical faults
• Provide customer training after equipment installation
• Prepare service reports and maintain accurate service records
• Update job status and service reports using the company's service management system
• Provide technical support via phone, WhatsApp and remote assistance
• Manage service tools, spare parts and technical documentation
• Support product demonstrations and technical evaluations when required

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Experience servicing medical or laboratory equipment is an advantage
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Able to work independently and under pressure
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Possess a valid Malaysian driving licence
• Willing to travel throughout Malaysia
