Service Engineer (Solar Rooftop)

About the role

Plan, inspect, and perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and warranty replacement for Solar Rooftop systems to ensure maximum efficiency. Inspect installation quality against company standards prior to monitoring registration, and deliver professional user training to clients. Track and evaluate daily, monthly, and annual energy yield reports; prepare operational documentation and monitoring system guides. Act as the primary technical contact to resolve client inquiries, handle service complaints, and coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan, inspect, and perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and warranty replacement for Solar Rooftop systems to ensure maximum efficiency
• Inspect installation quality against company standards prior to monitoring registration
• Deliver professional user training to clients
• Track and evaluate daily, monthly, and annual energy yield reports
• Prepare operational documentation and monitoring system guides (e.g., Sunny Portal)
• Act as the primary technical contact to resolve client inquiries
• Handle service complaints and coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Power Engineering with Valid Associate/Professional Engineer License
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in installation, control, or maintenance of Solar Rooftop systems
• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel for work in upcountry areas
• Comfortable working at heights and under pressure
• Work-at-Height certification is a major plus
• Strong analytical, communication, and immediate problem-solving skills
• Proficient in computer literacy and intermediate command of English
