Service Engineer (Switchgear)

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical service, troubleshooting, and support at customer sites or within the production facility
• Diagnose and resolve electrical panel / switchboard, control system, and distribution equipment issues.
• Perform testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical equipment to ensure proper functionality and compliance with specifications.
• Support engineering teams by providing technical solutions and feedback for design or production improvements.
• Review electrical drawings, schematics, and control diagrams to assist in troubleshooting and service activities.
• Prepare service reports, technical documentation, and inspection records after service activities.
• Provide technical guidance and support to customers regarding product operation and maintenance.
• Ensure all service activities comply with company procedures and quality standards.
• Perform other duties assigned by superior as required.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in electrical service, maintenance, commissioning, or related technical roles.
• Hands-on technical capability with good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, control systems, switchboard components and distribution equipment. Able to read and interpret technical drawings
• Basic understanding of electronics and control systems is required.
• Strong logical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.
• Familiarity with production processes or manufacturing environment, especially in electronic industry will be an advantage.
• Able to work independently with good communication and coordination skills with customers and internal teams.
• Eager to learn and continuously improve technical knowledge and engineering skills.
• Willing to travel for site service and technical support when required.
