Service Executive

About the role

Platinum Lifestyle Corporation Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Service Executive to join our team in Butterworth, Penang. In this full-time role, you will be responsible to manage customer service, coordinates vehicle maintenance workflows, and drives service sales at a service center. Your ability to streamline processes, optimize workflows, and ensure timely delivery of projects will be instrumental to the success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Relations: Greet customers, listen to vehicle issues, explain service packages, and manage inquiries via phone, WhatsApp, or walk-ins.

• Service Coordination: Schedule appointments, open job orders in the Dealer Management System (DMS), and coordinate work progress with technicians.

• Sales and Upselling: Promote maintenance plans, replacement parts, accessories, and additional repair services to hit conversion targets.

• Quality and Delivery: Inspect finished work, process invoices, handle billing, and explain repair outcomes to clients upon vehicle pickup.

• Complaint Resolution: Handle client feedback or disputes professionally, adhering to company standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Job Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Certificate in Automotive Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but experience is often accepted).

• Experience: Minimum 3 years working experience in an automotive service center, workshop, or customer-facing sales/service role.

• Skills: Strong communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin or local dialects are a strong advantage in many Malaysian dealerships. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of car repairs, maintenance parts, and familiarity with a Dealer Management System (DMS).
