In this role, you’ll:
- Lead the service team by establishing priorities and providing direction to Service Technicians, Service Advisors, Warranty Administrators, Detailers, and Porters.
- Keep the shop moving by managing the daily service schedule, setting repair timelines, balancing shop capacity, and adjusting assignments as priorities and customer needs change.
- Develop your team through onboarding, training, coaching, goal setting, performance feedback, and opportunities for technicians to grow their technical capabilities and responsibilities.

- Own the repair-order process from opening through closing, ensuring labor, parts, repair lines, technician notes, and billing information are complete and accurate.
- Deliver a strong customer experience by maintaining clear communication about repair status, timelines, recommended repairs, and service expectations.
- Protect quality and safety by overseeing quality-control practices, maintaining service equipment, completing required inspections, and following applicable regulations and company safety expectations.
- Partner across the business by working with the Parts Department, Fixed Operations leadership, vendors, and other teams to support timely repairs and strong service operations.
- Grow the service business by identifying opportunities to improve workflow, shop capacity, customer retention, department profitability, and the location’s overall service capabilities.
- Keep the team informed by making sure recalls, service bulletins, technical publications, and manufacturer requirements are communicated and implemented.
- Manage the tools and resources your team needs by overseeing shop supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships.
