Service Manager – Kalgoorlie Residential or FIFO Opportunity

Team KMS specialises in the maintenance, servicing and rebuilds of light vehicles, trucks, earthmoving equipment and auxiliary equipment.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our workshop in Kalgoorlie.

This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity for a strong leader to take ownership of workshop operations and lead our team. The role is ideally suited to a local Kalgoorlie resident, with the possibility of a FIFO arrangement for the right candidate.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with a strong mechanical background who can effectively manage people, customers, jobs and workshop performance while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and productivity.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience in a Service Manager, Workshop Manager or Senior Supervisor role.
• Strong mechanical experience across light vehicles, heavy vehicles, earthmoving or heavy equipment.
• Excellent leadership, communication and people-management skills.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• A customer-focused approach and the ability to build strong client relationships.
• The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy workshop environment.
• A strong commitment to safety, quality and productivity.
• Sound computer, job management and administrative skills.
• The ability to work effectively in a regional and remote environment.
• A positive, practical and can-do attitude.

Experience with mining equipment, earthmoving machinery, heavy vehicles, light vehicles or mobile plant will be highly regarded.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Service Manager, Workshop Manager or similar leadership role within the light vehicle, heavy vehicle, earthmoving or auxiliary equipment industries.
• Strong mechanical or light/heavy equipment industry experience.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a busy workshop.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office; MYOB experience is advantageous.
• Good communication skills and adaptability to changing procedures and priorities.
• A strong commitment to workplace safety.
• A focus on quality workmanship and customer service.
• A positive, hands-on and can-do approach.
• Minimum C Class unencumbered driver's licence.

Experience with light/heavy vehicles, mining and earthmoving equipment will be highly regarded.
