We are excited to introduce a new leadership opportunity for an experienced Service Manager to join our team.

This is a pivotal role responsible for the operational performance of our cardiology service, which is why we are looking for a proven, people focused leader to manage our clinic team, including nursing and sonography, and our administration team.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a key role in shaping how our service operates, ensuring we deliver safe, efficient and consistently high-quality care while creating an environment where our people can thrive.

We are looking for a commercially astute and hands-on leader who can bring people together, build accountability, improve performance and lead meaningful change.

The Opportunity

As Service Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of Allevia Cardiology Ascot Clinics and work closely with recognized cardiac specialists and our senior leadership to optimise service delivery, clinic capacity and patient experience.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading, coaching and developing multidisciplinary clinical and administration teams.
  • Providing visible, hands-on leadership and creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality patient care.
  • Using operational data, performance measures and insights to identify opportunities and drive improvement.
  • Leading workforce planning, recruitment, staffing and resource allocation to meet service demand.
  • Optimising clinic capacity, workflow and operational efficiency.
  • Ensuring the availability and effective use of clinical equipment, facilities, technology and operational resources.
  • Managing service provider relationships and supporting effective contract and supplier management.
  • Building strong relationships with patients, cardiologists, clinicians, referrers, insurers and other key stakeholders.
  • Ensuring patient concerns, complaints and service issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Leading change initiatives and embedding sustainable improvements across the service.
  • Supporting compliance, risk management and organisational standards.
  • Working collaboratively with the General Manager and wider leadership team to achieve business and service objectives.

About You

You are an experienced operational leader who thrives in a complex, people-focused environment and has a proven ability to turn strategy into action.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience leading diverse or multidisciplinary operational teams.
  • Strong commercial and business management capability.
  • A track record of improving performance, productivity and service outcomes.
  • Experience with workforce planning, resource management and service provider contracts.
  • Exceptional people leadership, coaching and performance management skills.
  • Confidence leading change and improvement in complex environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • A systems-thinking mindset combined with a practical, hands-on approach.
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to exceptional customer and patient service.
  • A tertiary qualification in business, healthcare management or a related discipline is preferred.

Experience within healthcare, private healthcare, medical services or another highly regulated service environment will be highly regarded.

Most importantly, you will be a leader who builds trust, sets clear expectations, develops capability and creates an environment where people are engaged, accountable and focused on delivering exceptional outcomes.

What Success Looks Like

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a visible impact. Success will be reflected in:

  • Engaged, capable and high-performing teams.
  • Consistent and exceptional patient experiences.
  • Effective workforce planning and utilisation of clinic capacity.
