Service Manager

About the role

This is a varied, practical role working with caravans and recreational vehicles in our service and yard operations. Working alongside our sales team, you'll be someone who enjoys working with your hands, takes pride in doing a job properly and isn't afraid to get stuck in.

Key responsibilities

• Moving and positioning caravans around the yard and workshop

• Management of Mechanic Desk our scheduling system

• Maintaining documentation for warranty purposes

• Structuring the day for the service team

• Liaising with our senior service technician

• Preparing caravans for customer collection and delivery

• Servicing, repairs and general workshop tasks

• Completing basic caravan checks and identifying any obvious issues

• Setting up and preparing caravans for display

• Keeping the service yard, workshop and surrounding areas clean, organised and safe

• Loading, unloading and moving stock as required

• Carrying out general maintenance and practical tasks around the yard

About you

• Practical, mechanically minded and enjoys hands-on work

• Can-do attitude and happy to get stuck in

• Reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work

• Good attention to detail

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work

• Great customer service skills

• Good communication skills and a professional attitude

• Holds a full NZ driver licence

• Experience with caravans, vehicles, mechanical work, building, maintenance or a similar industry preferred

• Towing experience or mechanical/trade/coach building experience would be an advantage
