What they need

MUST HAVE MOPAR / CDJR DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE

Brinson CDJR of Corsicana is looking for an experienced Service Manager to take the lead of our growing service department.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who understands how a Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram (CDJR) service department should operate and has the experience to lead technicians, advisors, and support staff to higher levels of productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Applicants without prior MOPAR/CDJR dealership service experience will not be considered.

We are looking for someone who wants to plant roots, build a team, and take ownership of the department, not someone looking for another short-term stop.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5+ years of automotive dealership service management experience
  • MUST have MOPAR / Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership service experience
  • Strong understanding of CDJR/MOPAR service operations, warranty processes, and manufacturer requirements
  • Strong technical and mechanical knowledge
  • Previous experience as a Service Manager, Assistant Service Manager, Service Director, Shop Foreman, or similar dealership leadership role
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, train, and hold technicians and advisors accountable
  • Strong understanding of RO flow, dispatch, technician productivity, labor hours, efficiency, CSI, gross profit, and department expenses
  • Ability to identify problems quickly and make decisions without constant oversight
  • Strong communication skills with technicians, advisors, parts personnel, customers, and dealership leadership
  • Experience working with dealership DMS and service scheduling/dispatch systems
  • Professional, organized, and level-headed under pressure

This Role Is About More Than Managing a Schedule

We need a leader who is willing to be involved in the day-to-day operation of the shop.

You will be responsible for making sure the department has the right processes, the right people, and the accountability necessary to produce consistent results.

The right candidate will:

  • Keep the shop moving and control daily RO flow
  • Monitor and improve technician productivity and efficiency
  • Manage dispatch and make sure work is distributed properly
  • Coach advisors on write-up quality, communication, follow-up, and closing repair opportunities
  • Work closely with the Parts Department to reduce downtime
  • Review open ROs and identify bottlenecks before they become customer problems
  • Handle customer escalations professionally and effectively
  • Monitor CSI and develop action plans when performance falls short
  • Train and develop employees rather than simply replacing them
  • Hold employees accountable to dealership and manufacturer standards
  • Conduct regular department meetings and one-on-one coaching
  • Monitor service department revenue, gross profit, expenses, and overall performance
  • Ensure warranty and manufacturer requirements are followed
  • Work with dealership leadership to improve fixed operations performance
  • Build a culture based on quality, accountability, teamwork, and consistency

Leadership Expectations

We are not looking for someone who simply watches the numbers from an office.

We want a hands-on Service Manager who knows how to walk into a shop, understand what is happening, identify the problem, and help the team fix it.

You should be comfortable having difficult conversations, setting expectations, coaching employees, and holding people accountable when standards aren’t being met.

At the same time, you should know how to recognize good performance, develop your people, and build a team that wants to succeed.

What We’re NOT Looking For

  • Candidates without MOPAR/CDJR dealership experience
  • Candidates without prior new-car dealership service experience
  • Someone who avoids accountability or difficult conversations
  • Someone who is unwilling to work directly with technicians and advisors
  • Candidates with a pattern of constantly moving from dealership to dealership
  • Someone looking for a position where they can simply maintain the status quo

We’re looking for someone who wants to build something and stay.

What Brinson Offers

  • Competitive compensation with strong earning potential
  • Stable, family-owned dealership group
  • Strong leadership support
  • Growing service operation
  • Opportunity to build and develop your own team
  • Career growth opportunities within Brinson Auto Group
  • A dealership culture focused on doing things the right way
  • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the performance of the department

Job Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of automotive dealership service management experience
  • MUST have MOPAR / CDJR dealership experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong knowledge of dealership service operations
  • Experience with dealership DMS and service scheduling/dispatch systems
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work full-time and weekends as required
