Miles Chevrolet is seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to join our team in Decatur, IL. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of our service department, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient workflow. You will lead and motivate our service team, manage scheduling, and work closely with customers to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all service department activities, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Lead, train, and develop service team members to meet performance and customer service goals.
• Schedule and coordinate service appointments to maximize efficiency and customer convenience.
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and resolve any issues or concerns.
• Collaborate with parts and sales departments to support overall dealership operations.
• Maintain records and prepare reports related to service department performance and customer feedback.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a service management or supervisory role, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of automotive service procedures and industry standards is preferred.
• Proficiency with dealership management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
