Service Manager

Mirate is seeking an experienced Service Manager to join our FOH management team. Mirate is a modern Mexican restaurant with a menu from Chef Alan Sanz and a 50 Best Bar beverage program created by Max Reis. Ideal candidate has extensive hospitality experience with a focus on restaurant management in a high volume elevated setting. Should have a go get em attitude, friendly, personable, hospitality driven, and fun.

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead our team, ensure efficient restaurant operations, and deliver exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can manage staff performance, uphold food safety standards, and drive customer satisfaction and business success.

• Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including dining room and kitchen coordination
  • Lead and support staff to maintain high service and operational standards
  • Ensure a positive guest experience by monitoring service levels and responding to customer feedback
  • Hire, train, and supervise team members; conduct regular performance evaluations
  • Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and payroll reporting
  • Monitor food and labor costs, manage inventory, and control waste
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Assist in developing and executing marketing or promotional strategies to increase sales
  • Manage vendor relationships and ordering systems
  • Report regularly on sales, budgets, and operational performance to upper management
