Service Manager

Brief Description:

We are looking for a Service Manager to lead technical service operations and field service teams within an industrial refrigeration and compressor environment. The role focuses on service delivery, technician performance, resource planning, and improving response times and operational efficiency.

Job Description

· Lead and manage service technicians, providing technical guidance and ongoing development.

· Plan and coordinate daily service activities, job scheduling, and technician resources

· Oversee maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and breakdown support on refrigeration and compressor systems

· Drive service improvements to increase efficiency, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction

· Monitor service performance, KPIs, budgets, and operational reporting

· Support customers and ensure service work is completed to required technical and industry standards

Skills & Experience

· Minimum 5+ years’ experience in industrial refrigeration or rotating equipment maintenance

· Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a service management, supervisory, or team leadership role

· Strong technical knowledge of compressors, electrical systems, and PLC controls

· Solid experience leading field service teams and managing service operations

· Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills

· Experience with industrial refrigeration systems and compressor maintenance

· Willingness to travel locally and internationally

Qualifications

· Diploma or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

· SAQCC Gas Category B8 license will be advantageous

· Valid driver’s license
