What they need
We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Service Manager to help us develop and lead our new service for mental wellbeing respite care, based in Central Otago. We are looking for someone with New Zealand qualifications and experience in one of the following:
Nursing
Counselling
Occupational therapy
Social Work
This is a hands-on role where you will be part of a roster, working alongside and leading a team of peer support workers, mental health professionals, and clinicians, in a home-based environment with 2-bed tangata whai ora capacity.
A unique opportunity to work with the community and other services to build the new service from the ground up.
Salary will be based on the current pay scale for the profession, or based on experience.
This is a partnership contract with Ngā Kete Mātauranga Pounamu (Invercargill), which has experience delivering overnight care services and will provide oversight and guidance throughout all stages of delivery.
