Service Manager

Responsibilities for Service Manager

• Manage and supervise the service technicians, oversee and check quality of their vehicle service work.
• Schedule service technicians and lot technician work hours and job functions
• Manage the service department and order parts necessary for vehicle repairs and ensure newly acquired vehicles are inspected and repairs are diagnosed.
• Coordinate all aspects of vehicle repairs by vendors.
• Coordinate customer service appointments and understand the customer's concerns for diagnosis and repair.
• Coordinate all aspects of GPS installation
• Communicate with customers on status, required repairs and cost of needed repairs.
• Oversee and coordinate all aspects of vehicle preparation for auction.
• Communicate with sales managers regarding profitability

Qualifications

• Prior experience managing vehicle service and repair shop 1+ years
• Knowledge of motor vehicle repairs and service
• Valid drivers license
