Service Operations Coordinator

Agricentre South is looking for a highly organised, technically minded Service Operations Coordinator to play a critical role in supporting our service operations across Southland and Otago. Based in Lorneville, this position is responsible for coordinating the daily activities of our field service technicians while also overseeing dealership field operations and vehicle management across our branch network. You'll be the central link between customers, technicians, Service Managers, and branches, ensuring work is prioritised effectively, resources are utilised efficiently, and customers receive the responsive service they depend on to keep their equipment running and downtime to a minimum.

What You'll Be Doing

• Coordinating and scheduling daily field service activities.
• Managing technician workloads and ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
• Prioritising service requests based on urgency, customer needs, and operational requirements.
• Acting as a key point of contact for customers and providing regular service updates.
• Monitoring and triaging operational and telematics alerts across the Agricentre South network.
• Helping maximise field service productivity while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

What We're Looking For

• A technical background in agriculture, heavy equipment, automotive, mechanical, or a related industry.
• Outstanding organisational and planning skills.
• The ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
• Confidence, initiative, and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• A team player who enjoys working with people and driving positive outcomes.
