Working closely with Operations, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Reliability teams, you will ensure maintenance work is planned effectively, resources are available, and fleet availability targets are achieved.

Job Description:

What You'll Do:

  • Develop detailed maintenance work packages for planned and corrective maintenance activities, including labor, tooling, materials, permits, and technical documentation requirements.
  • Create and maintain daily, weekly, and rolling maintenance schedules that optimize fleet availability, workforce utilization, and production requirements.
  • Manage maintenance backlogs by ensuring work is properly scoped, prioritized, and executed in alignment with operational risk and business needs.
  • Coordinate material readiness by working closely with Supply Chain and Warehouse teams to ensure parts and components are available before scheduled work begins.
  • Support fleet readiness through planning and coordination of preventative maintenance, component replacements, major shutdowns, campaigns, inspections, commissioning, and decommissioning activities.
  • Facilitate planning and scheduling meetings while maintaining alignment between Operations, Maintenance, and Reliability stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators including schedule compliance, backlog performance, labor utilization, maintenance readiness, and fleet availability.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that enhance maintenance planning processes, execution efficiency, and equipment reliability.

What You'll Bring:

  • Journeyperson certification, technical diploma, degree, or a combination of education and relevant experience in mining, heavy equipment, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
  • Experience in a mobile equipment maintenance environment, preferably supporting large mining equipment fleets.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance planning, scheduling, work management, and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Experience using CMMS systems and maintenance management processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, analyze maintenance data, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License or equivalent.
