Service Plumber

As a Residential Plumber, you will be responsible for the maintenance, installation, and repair of plumbing systems within residential settings, including remodels and occupied homes. Success in this role requires the ability to work autonomously, provide clear explanations of repair options to homeowners, and serve as a professional ambassador for our brand.

Primary Duties

• Identify and resolve residential plumbing malfunctions such as leaks, blockages, water heater issues, sump pump failures, and drain or water line problems.
• Execute the installation, replacement, and maintenance of various residential components, including faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, water heaters, and water softeners.
• Conduct drain cleaning services and perform essential troubleshooting for sewer and water lines to ensure optimal system performance.
• Review work orders to evaluate site conditions and material requirements, ensuring every task is completed with maximum efficiency and safety.
• Foster positive relationships with clients by providing transparent communication regarding repair findings, service options, and project timelines.
• Help maintain a pristine work environment by protecting the customer's property and ensuring the site remains organized throughout the service visit.
• Ensure all administrative tasks, including service notes, photographic documentation, and invoicing, are handled with precision to facilitate smooth job closeouts.
• Adhere strictly to all relevant plumbing codes, internal quality standards, and safety protocols to protect the integrity of our work.
• Keep assigned tools, service vehicles, and inventory in excellent condition to support daily operations.
• Collaborate effectively with the broader team while maintaining the autonomy to manage individual service calls successfully.

Essential Qualifications

• Proven background in residential plumbing service.
• Expertise in diagnosing and repairing common residential plumbing infrastructure.
• Professional communication skills suitable for interacting with both homeowners and colleagues.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and a clean, reliable driving history.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check and any necessary pre-employment screenings.
• Physical capacity to perform plumbing tasks, including lifting, kneeling, crawling, and navigating confined spaces.
• A meticulous approach to work and a dedication to delivering high-quality results for every client.

Desired Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with water heaters, tankless systems, water treatment, and sewer/water line repairs.
• Proficiency in utilizing tablets and digital software for service documentation and invoicing.
• A service-oriented mindset that allows you to present repair solutions clearly without relying on high-pressure sales techniques.
• Additional certifications in areas such as backflow, boiler systems, or gas piping are considered an asset.

Work Schedule

• Standard operating hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Participation in an after-hours on-call rotation.
