What they need

About us

Fleming Brothers is a family-run Suzuki main dealer, proudly established for 60 years and based in the seaside resort of Hunstanton, Norfolk.

We are a multi-award-winning Suzuki dealership and one of the leading dealerships in the UK for Customer Experience (CX). We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and building long-lasting relationships with our customers.

We are looking for a switched-on, enthusiastic and customer-focused Service Receptionist to join our busy aftersales team. This is an important role within our business, and we are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail and understands the importance of delivering an outstanding customer experience.

The role

As Service Receptionist, you will be one of the main points of contact for our customers, helping to ensure their experience is smooth and positive from booking their vehicle in to handing it back.

You will work closely with our technicians, parts department and management team to keep the workshop running efficiently, maintain clear communication and deliver the high level of service our customers expect.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting customers and managing service and repair bookings.
  • Preparing job cards and ensuring vehicle details and customer requirements are recorded accurately.
  • Liaising with technicians and the parts department to keep work progressing efficiently.
  • Keeping customers informed of progress, costs and completion times.
  • Preparing invoices and explaining completed work to customers.
  • Handling customer enquiries professionally and resolving any concerns.
  • Monitoring workflow and helping to ensure vehicles are completed within agreed timescales.
  • Maintaining high customer satisfaction and dealership standards.
  • Identifying opportunities to recommend appropriate additional products and services.

About you

We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and confident working in a busy environment. As a dealership recognised for its outstanding customer experience, we need someone who is switched on, pays attention to detail and consistently delivers a high standard of service.

Ideally, you’ll have previous experience as a Service Advisor or in an automotive aftersales role. However, we’re just as interested in finding the right person with the right attitude. If you have excellent customer service and administration skills, are naturally organised and eager to learn, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re committed to helping you succeed. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills through manufacturer through Suzuki, building your knowledge, confidence and expertise. We’ll support you in developing the skills needed to deliver an outstanding experience for every customer and build a successful long-term career with us.

You will ideally have:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Confidence using computer systems and handling administrative work.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and working as part of a team.
  • The ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • A genuine interest in the motor trade.
  • A full UK driving licence.

Experience with dealership management systems, workshop processes or manufacturer warranty procedures would be an advantage, but is not essential for the right candidate.

Working hours

  • Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm.
  • Alternate Saturday mornings: 8:00am – 12:00pm.

Benefits

  • Company pension.
  • Employee discount.
  • Friendly, family-run working environment.
  • Manufacturer training and development opportunities.
  • The opportunity to build a long-term career within an established, award-winning Suzuki dealership.

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience.

Licence/Certification

  • Full UK driving licence (required).

Work authorisation

  • Right to work in the United Kingdom (required).

Work location

  • In person at Fleming Brothers Suzuki, Hunstanton, Norfolk.

Interested?

If you are switched on, customer-focused and take pride in delivering excellent service, we would love to hear from you.

Join an established, multi-award-winning dealership where customer experience is at the heart of everything we do.

Apply through Indeed with your CV, and we will be in touch with suitable candidates.
