Service Receptionist / Courtesy Driver

Melville Subaru is seeking a friendly, professional and customer-focused Service Receptionist / Courtesy Driver to join our busy Service Department.

As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience. This position would suit someone who enjoys helping people, takes pride in providing excellent customer service and thrives in a fast-paced team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and assisting with vehicle check-in
• Answering incoming telephone calls in a professional manner
• Scheduling service and repair appointments
• Responding to general service-related enquiries
• Driving customers to and from the dealership in our courtesy vehicle
• Preparing paperwork and appointments for the following day
• Completing general administration and filing duties
• Maintaining a clean and welcoming customer lounge
• Supporting the Service Advisors and wider Service Department as required

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

• Previous administration, reception or customer service experience
• Automotive or dealership experience, preferred but not essential
• Well-developed customer service and interpersonal skills
• A professional and pleasant telephone manner
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
• Confidence using computers and learning new systems
• The ability to multitask and remain organised in a busy environment
• The ability to manage customer expectations professionally
• A friendly, positive and professional approach
• A strong work ethic and willingness to support the wider team
• A current Australian driver’s licence and confidence driving a manual vehicle
