With continued growth across the business, we’re looking for an experienced and motivated Service Refrigeration Technician to join our North Lakes-based team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, problem solving and working both independently and as part of a supportive technical team.

You’ll be responsible for servicing, repairing, installing and maintaining commercial refrigeration and frozen dessert equipment across a range of customer sites.

Key responsibilities include:

• Attending service, breakdown, maintenance and warranty calls
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on refrigeration equipment
• Performing mechanical overhauls and refrigeration reclaiming
• Installing and commissioning machines and equipment
• Testing systems, components and connections using appropriate tools and gauges
• Identifying and replacing worn or defective parts
• Completing job documentation accurately and on time
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with legislative requirements
• Assisting with equipment deliveries and workshop tasks as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• A current Driver’s Licence
• ARC Refrigerant Handling Licence
• Restricted Electrical Licence
• Test & Tag qualification/licence
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• The ability to work autonomously and manage your time effectively
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• A reliable, professional and team-focused attitude
