About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Service Representative to join our team in Suffolk, VA, to perform specialized service, warranty, and repair work on customer product.

This team member must be a customer service and solutions-oriented professional that is self-motivated and well organized along with strong written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills. Efficiency in Microsoft Office and working with computers and mobile devices is necessary. Candidate must have the ability to carry out assignments with little or no supervision, take ownership for assignment results and details, be capable of reacting to varying project/field conditions and able to make decisions to solve problems and changes in the scope of work.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following tasks:

• Accepts customer requests for service/warranty/repair work; writes up service orders and enters into dealer’s business system; schedules service work and confirms with clients for scheduled dates
• Reviews daily service dispatch for clarity, tools, parts, and scope of work
• Performs detailed diagnostic/identification of problem if necessary, including documentation of issue and solution
• Researches required parts in manufacturer’s parts catalogs and writes up sales order information for ordering part(s) necessary for repair
• Communicates problem, solution, cost, and time frame for solution to client on a consistent basis
• Completes service/warranty/repair work and ensures customer satisfaction

This position is safety sensitive and requires full, unimpaired judgment and motor skills.

Candidate must:

• be at least 21 years of age
• have a satisfactory driving record
• be able to pass pre-employment drug testing as well as background checks to maintain access to military bases and client sites
• possess a basic understanding of electricity
• have advanced mechanical aptitude and know how to safely use tools and equipment
• be comfortable driving a delivery van and be able to do so safely
• be trainable to learn fixing contract furniture

Pay: $35,568.00 - $75,000.00 per year
