Are you an experienced IT professional who enjoys bringing complex systems together, solving technical challenges and working closely with customers?

We are looking for a Service Solution Architect to join a global leader in warehouse automation and intralogistics technology, delivering advanced automated solutions that keep some of the world's largest supply chains moving.

Based in Veghel, Netherlands , you will take ownership of integrated customer IT/OT solutions, acting as the technical lead to ensure systems remain reliable, optimised and fit for purpose throughout their lifecycle.

What you'll be doing

• Take a holistic view of integrated IT/OT solutions across customer sites, ensuring all components work together effectively.
• Lead the technical response to major incidents, problems and changes.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams to ensure technical delivery meets operational and business requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability and efficiency.
• Translate customer requirements into practical technical solutions and recommendations.
• Oversee testing, technical documentation, release management and risk assessment.
• Advise on system improvements and help customers get the most out of their automation infrastructure.

What we're looking for

• At least 5 years of experience in customer-facing IT roles, such as system integration, infrastructure, software delivery or testing within business-critical environments.
• A bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics or a related technical discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand the bigger picture while investigating technical detail when required.
• Experience with IT Service Management, with ITIL 4 certification considered an advantage.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to manage priorities during escalations and major incidents.
• Fluent English. Dutch language skills are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10 to 20% domestically and internationally.

Technical knowledge

You do not need to be an expert in every area from day one, but familiarity with several of the following would be beneficial:

• Operational Technology: PLCs, barcode scanners and SCADA.
• IT Infrastructure: Servers, virtualisation, networking, VLANs, firewalls, databases and cybersecurity.
• IT Software: Warehouse Control Systems (WCS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), system messaging, Identity and Access Management, logging and data analysis.
• Service Delivery: Release management, risk management and continuous system improvement.
