Service Specialist

About the role

As a Service Specialist, you'll be providing expert technical support, maintenance, and commissioning services for pump systems and equipment that ensure optimal performance and outstanding customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities

• Test, configure, troubleshoot, and service electrical, electronic, and control systems including PID controllers, fieldbus protocols, inverters, sensors, and control cabinets
• Install, commission, and maintain pump systems and equipment, ensuring proper functionality and long-term reliability
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers, diagnosing issues and recommending solutions to optimize their operations
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure all work complies with safety regulations and standards
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all service activities, repairs, and maintenance procedures
• Collaborate with internal teams and Divisions to resolve complex issues and improve aftermarket service delivery

About you

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or electronics engineering, or equivalent field experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a service engineer, field service technician, or similar technical support role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronic, and fieldbus protocol systems with hands-on equipment experience
• Proficiency with digital tools including Microsoft Office for reporting and professional communication
• Hands-on technical problem solver with strong customer focus, excellent diagnostic abilities, and confidence to work independently in the field while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, or industrial pump systems
• Knowledge of safety protocols for working with machinery and electrical/electronic equipment
• Experience delivering customer training or technical presentations
