Job Summary

The Service Staff (Bakery Outlet) is responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling daily sales transactions, and ensuring the bakery display is well-maintained and inviting. The role supports smooth outlet operations by assisting customers, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Service

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide product information and recommendations
• Handle customer enquiries and basic feedback

2. Sales & Cashiering

• Process customer purchases accurately using POS system
• Handle cash, card, and e-payment transactions
• Ensure proper closing and balancing of daily sales

3. Product Display & Merchandising

• Ensure bakery products are well-displayed and attractively arranged
• Monitor product freshness and assist in replenishment
• Follow FIFO (First-In-First-Out) stock rotation system

4. Outlet Operations Support

• Assist in opening and closing procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of display counters and customer areas
• Support stock receiving and basic inventory checks

5. Food Safety & Hygiene

• Comply with food hygiene and safety standards
• Maintain personal hygiene and proper grooming standards
• Ensure cleanliness of workstations and equipment
