Service Staff

JOB SPECIFICATION

I. Job Summary

Responsible for the daily operations of the coffee shop, including barista duties, food preparation, cashiering, customer service, and maintaining cleanliness, ensuring efficient operations and excellent guest satisfaction.

II. Duties and Responsibilities

1. Barista Operations

• Prepare and serve coffee, non-coffee beverages, and other menu items according to company standards.
• Ensure consistent beverage quality, taste, and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of coffee equipment.

2. Kitchen Operations

• Prepare, cook, and plate food orders according to standard recipes.
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and observe food safety standards.

3. Cashiering and Sales

• Operate the POS system and accurately process guest transactions.
• Handle cash, digital payments, and daily sales reconciliation.
• Promote menu items, upsell products, and help achieve daily sales targets.

4. Customer Service

• Welcome guests, take orders, and provide prompt and courteous service.
• Address guest requests and concerns professionally.
• Ensure accurate and timely serving of orders.

5. Inventory and Housekeeping

• Monitor stocks, supplies, and daily inventory usage.
• Report low stocks, wastage, and equipment concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, kitchen, and beverage station.

6. General Operations

• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Rotate between kitchen, cashier, and barista stations as operationally required.
• Follow company policies, standard operating procedures, and food safety regulations.
• Perform other related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

III. Job Qualifications

• At least Senior High School graduate.
• Must have relevant work experience in a coffee shop, café, or restaurant.
• Must be capable and willing to perform all-around duties in the kitchen, cashier, and barista stations.
• Knowledgeable in coffee preparation, basic cooking, POS operations, and cash handling.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Honest, dependable, flexible, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: Php12,000.00 - Php13,000.00 per month
