What they need

About the Role

Kongsberg Maritime Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Service Support Coordinator to join our team in Henderson. As a Service Support Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating naval service projects, ensuring the effective planning, scheduling and delivery of site-based service activities. Acting as the central point of coordination between customers, Service Engineers, contractors, workshop personnel and management, this role supports the safe and efficient execution of maintenance and service work within a naval and shipyard environment.

The position is responsible for coordinating daily activities, maintaining schedules and action registers, facilitating communication between stakeholders, and ensuring project documentation and resources are aligned to operational requirements. A consistent on-site presence is required to support daily operations, engage with customers and operational personnel, and maintain effective coordination across multiple service projects and work scopes. This role enables Service Engineers to focus on technical delivery while supporting the overall success of service operations.

Eligibility to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance is essential.

·         A positive and supportive team culture

·         35-hour work week

·         One rostered day off (RDO) per month

·         Scheduling: Build and maintain integrated workshop, field-service, and shop task schedules, preparing weekly progress reports for management.

·         Contractor Management: Oversee contractor mobilisation, inductions, site access, and logistical requirements, escalating scope or cost variations prior to approval.

Customer & Documentation Management

·         Client Interface: Serve as the day-to-day operational contact, leading project and de-confliction meetings and tracking action items to closure.

·         Completion Packages: Collate OQE, reports and sign-offs to assemble quality-checked MDR and TPCC packages.

·         Claims: Prepare progress claim forms with supporting evidence, tracking customer approvals and resolutions.

Procurement, Governance & Systems

·         Document Control: Maintain template libraries, trackers, and project files to audit-ready standards across secure systems (Beakon, Cryptshare, Export-Control drives, shared drives, and standard office tools).

·         Governance: Ensure strict adherence to document versioning, formatting, confidentiality, and export-control rules.

Highly accountable and self-driven, you excel at taking complex, multi-stakeholder inputs, turning them into clear daily plans, and following every action through to closure without needing constant direction.
