Nature of Work Responsible for functioning independently in troubleshooting, installations, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing mechanisms all while providing top-notch customer service.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Plan and complete all necessary steps in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems
• Troubleshoot malfunctions, interruptions, and failures of pumps and domestic hot water systems
• Adhere to the highest standards of quality and safety
• Ensure complete customer satisfaction from start to finished product
• Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
• Respond to emergency service requests
• Communicate in a professional manner with employees and customers
• Produce detailed service reports and time entry daily
• Operate and maintain an organized and well-inventoried vehicle
• Adhere to current plumbing rules, regulations, and codes
• Adhere to the highest standards of quality
• Proper use of tools and equipment
• Provide documentation including processes, daily logs, etc. as required for assigned projects
• Travel to jobs within service area and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are promptly communicated
• Build positive relationships with customers
• Promote the company safety culture and safety awareness throughout the company, projects, or office
• Maintain a satisfactory driving record which, per Company’s vehicle policy, allows operation of a vehicle for business purposes
• Exercise initiative or, as directed, perform additional duties to meet the needs of the organization

Education

• Minimum of high school diploma or GED

Experience

• 3+ years or more of plumbing technical and trade experience.

Physical Demands and Working Environment

• Must be able to lift 100+ pounds
• Able to tolerate extreme temperatures for extended periods of time
• Able to work overtime and weekend hours in an On-Call Rotation
• Able to continually push, pull, lift, grasp, hold, carry, reach, reach above the shoulders, stoop, bend at the waist, bend at the knee, kneel, bend side to side, crouch, stand on step stools or small ladders and balance.
• This position will be required to use a ladder and work at tall heights (i.e. roof top, access ladders, scissor-lift, scaffolding)
• Ability to pass drug screen, physical exam, and background check.
• Must have reliable transportation
• Safety-sensitive position that requires extreme focus and attention to safety hazards and safety protocols.
