About the role

We are seeking an experienced Service Technical Supervisor for Major Home Appliances to join our team in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing the technical operations and service delivery of major home appliances. As Service Technical Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of technicians, ensuring high standards of service quality, and maintaining strong customer relationships. This position is integral to our operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction and the overall success of our service department.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and manage daily activities of service technicians to ensure efficient and timely completion of repair and maintenance tasks
• Monitor and evaluate the technical performance and productivity of team members, providing constructive feedback and guidance
• Ensure all service work is completed to the highest standard, adhering to company policies, safety protocols, and industry best practices
• Conduct quality inspections of completed work and address any issues or concerns promptly
• Manage scheduling of service appointments and allocation of technicians to maximise efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Respond to complex technical issues and provide support to technicians when required
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of all service activities, repairs, and parts usage
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring resolution and customer satisfaction
• Assist in training and development of technicians, promoting skill enhancement and career progression
• Monitor inventory levels of tools, equipment, and spare parts, coordinating replenishment as needed
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and operational efficiency
• Prepare reports on service metrics, performance indicators, and team productivity for management review

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Service Technical Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the home appliances or related technical service industry
• Strong technical knowledge of major home appliances including refrigerators, washing machines, ovens, air conditioning units, and other related products
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team of technicians effectively
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
• Strong organisational and time management abilities with capability to manage multiple priorities
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in using service management software and technical documentation systems
• Knowledge of safety standards, regulations, and best practices in the appliance service industry
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining quality standards
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel when necessary
• Relevant technical certification or qualification in appliance repair and maintenance is preferred
• Experience in inventory management and parts procurement is advantageous
