Service Technician (Air Con installation knowledge)

About the role

Air & Odor Management Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated Service Technician with Air Conditioning Installation Knowledge to join our growing team in Kampong Ubi, Central Region. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining and servicing our clients' air cleaning and scenting systems. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance, repair, and installation support services to ensure optimal performance of our systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and servicing of air cleaning / scenting systems for residential and commercial clients
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment faults and malfunctions
• Repair and replace faulty components
• Assist with the installation of new air cleaning / scenting units, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards
• Conduct system inspections and testing to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
• Maintain accurate records of all service calls, repairs completed, and parts used
• Provide technical advice to clients regarding system maintenance and proper usage
• Respond promptly to service calls and emergency repair requests
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with relevant regulations and standards
• Collaborate with team members and management to prioritise workload and meet service commitments

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as an air conditioning service technician or similar role in the HVAC industry
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with air conditioning installation procedures
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and service tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Physical capability to perform hands-on work at various heights and in confined spaces
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driving licence and reliable transportation for on-site visits
• Safety-conscious approach with knowledge of workplace safety procedures
