Automotive Service Technician (Class C)

Pay: This position is considered an flat-rate position where you will make $20.00 per flat-rate hour.

Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location. Final compensation will be determined through the interview process and in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws.

Schedule: Our Service Department operates during the following hours:

• Monday - Friday: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM

• Saturday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• Sunday: Closed

Candidates must be available during service department operating hours and willing to work rotating Saturdays. Additional hours may be required during peak service periods.

What You'll Do

• Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, and fluid checks.
• Complete vehicle inspections and identify maintenance needs.
• Assist with basic automotive repairs and services under dealership and manufacturer guidelines.
• Perform brake services, alignments, tire installations, and other entry-level repair work.
• Document repair recommendations and inspection findings accurately.
• Maintain productivity while delivering quality workmanship.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures and dealership policies.
• Participate in Honda and dealership training programs to continue developing technical skills.
• Support a positive team environment focused on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring

• Previous automotive service, lube technician, express technician, or mechanical experience preferred.
• ASE certifications are a plus, but not required.
• Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair procedures.
• Desire to learn and grow within an automotive service career path.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift and move automotive parts and equipment as needed.
