Service Technician

Job Summary

Join MayAir Group, a global leader in air purification solutions since 2001, as a Service Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out on-site service, maintenance, installation, and technical support activities for the company's equipment and systems. You will work closely with Project Engineers, Project Managers, and customers to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company quality and safety standards. This role provides valuable hands-on technical experience and opportunities to travel for both local and overseas projects.

Job Description

• Perform on-site inspections, technical support, and service activities in compliance with company safety and quality standards.
• Carry out installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of company equipment and systems.
• Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and related documentation.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, Project Managers, customers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and provide updates.
• Travel to local and overseas project sites as required.
• Perform any other duties assigned by your superior or management from time to time.

What You Will Need

Must Have

• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Mechanical, or a related engineering field).
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Service Technician is preferred.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and interpret layout drawings, technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Willing to travel locally and overseas.

Good to Have

• Experience in troubleshooting and field service work.
• Good problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin (required to communicate with China counterparts).
