Service Technician

Quality/Service Technician will conduct routine quality inspections throughout assembly production, including in-process and final inspections of new machinery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIE

1. SQC inspection of all new equipment
2. .Conduct reviews of checklists for compliance with equipment specification standards per customer purchase agreements
3. .Is a liaison between production and engineering for technical updates
4. .Participate in overflow part quality checks as needed for machining operations
5. .Design and implement methods for process control, process improvement, testing, and inspection
6. .Record and maintain documentation of all machinery inspections
7. .Work with the safety committee to ensure continuous compliance with all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations and standards
8. .Identify and troubleshoot quality issues and recommend solutions
9. .Collaborate and train production staff in quality control procedures and standards
10. .Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and safety control processes
11. .Communicate quality and safety control findings and recommendations to management
12. .Performs and assumes other duties and responsibilities as may be required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIEN**

1. CEAssociate of Applied Science Degree or equivalent, electrical or mechanica
2. l.A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a quality control manufacturing environmen
3. t.Thoroughly versed in the use of an array of electronic test equipmen
4. t.Understand basic electrical and mechanical engineering principle
5. s.Understand basic pneumatic/hydraulic fundamental
6. s.Diverse knowledge of inspection and control methods, techniques and documentatio
7. n.Excellent communication skills (written and verbal
8. ).Ability to use a variety of precision measuring tools, including micrometers and caliper
9. s.Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervisio
10. n.Strong computer skills including QA applications, word processing, spreadsheets and database
