Service Technician

About the role

You will be responsible for carrying out routine servicing of HRV systems, including filter changes, system checks, and ensuring optimal performance for our customers. The role is largely independent once trained, so the ability to work confidently on your own is essential. You will also have the opportunity to earn additional commission through product and service recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Service and maintain HRV ventilation systems
• Replace filters and carry out routine system inspections
• Identify any issues and provide clear recommendations to customers
• Maintain accurate service records
• Represent the company professionally in customers' homes
• Occasional overnight travel to Gisborne and Taupō (paid overnight allowance provided)

About you

• Full current New Zealand driver's licence (essential)
• Physically fit and able to work in ceilings, roof spaces and tight areas
• Able to pass a police check
• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a supportive team
• Reliable, well-presented and customer-focused
• Previous experience in ventilation, HVAC, building services or a related trade is advantageous but not essential — full training will be provided
