Service Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and hands-on Service Technician to assist with repair and servicing work for professional audio visual equipment. The candidate should be willing to learn, able to work independently as well as in a team, and maintain proper repair records and updates.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out basic troubleshooting, repair and servicing of equipment.
• Assist senior technicians with technical and repair work when required.
• Provide updates and reports on repair and service status.
• Record and monitor parts used and parts required for repairs.
• Handle warranty claim documentation and follow-up.
• Ensure all repair records are updated accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the service area.
• Perform testing and quality checks before equipment is returned to customers.
• Coordinate with the service team on repair timelines and pending jobs.
• Follow company procedures and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Basic technical knowledge or interest in electronics/audio visual equipment.
• Willing to learn and undergo training.
• Responsible, organised, and able to keep proper records.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with basic technical experience are encouraged to apply.
