Service Technician

Yadkin Valley Motor Co. in North Wilkesboro, NC is currently seeking a service technician. We are NC’s oldest Ford dealership with 111 years in business and have a large customer base and history within the community. Job Requirements

• Perform work as outlined on repair order in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
• Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform necessary repairs
• Estimate cost of vehicle repairs
• Perform lubrication, general inspection, and other related services
• Inspect vehicle fluids and replenish when necessary
• Report equipment defects or malfunctions to manager
• Re-inspect work or road-test vehicles prior to returning vehicle to customer
• Attend factory sponsored training when required
• Stay updated on factory technical bulletins
• Ensure all vehicles are kept clean
• Maintain a clean workspace

Qualifications

• Great customer service skills
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Detail-oriented and willing to follow directions
• Must have computer proficiency
• Drivers License
• US work authorization
• Background check

Schedule

• 8 hour shift
• Monday - Friday

Experience

• Mechanical Knowledge (Required)
• Customer Service (Preferred)
• Auto Estimating (Preferred)
• Automotive Diagnostics (Preferred)
