ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Service Technician, you are responsible for repairing, maintaining, and supporting barcode printers and RF scanning terminals on-site and remotely, including hardware setup, diagnostics, and occasional after-hours work.

Your key focus areas will include:

• Repair and service of leading brand barcode label printers and RF scanning terminals
• Field service and in-house maintenance
• Phone and online remote support
• Wi-Fi system design, configuration and servicing
• Disassembly/assembly of mechanical and electronic equipment
• Troubleshooting and diagnostics of barcode label printers and RF scanner terminals

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Service Technician to deliver high-quality technical support and repair services across our Melbourne customer base.

You will have:

• Electronics experience (essential)
• Trade/tertiary qualifications in electronics
• Electronic and mechanical fault diagnosis skills
• Sound knowledge of computing, Windows and Android operating systems
• High standard of customer service
• High level of verbal communications & written skills
• Quality workmanship
• Minimum 1 years’ experience in electronic servicing industry
• Experience in Data Network Principals and Mobile Data Capture Hardware would be an advantage
• Current driver's licence
