What you'll be doing

• Performing routine maintenance and inspections on refrigeration, air conditioning, and HVAC systems
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting technical faults and system malfunctions
• Carrying out repairs and replacements of faulty components with precision and care
• Installing new equipment and systems in accordance with industry standards and specifications
• Responding to emergency service calls and providing prompt technical support
• Maintaining detailed service records and documentation for all work completed
• Communicating effectively with clients to explain technical issues and solutions in clear, accessible language
• Adhering to health and safety regulations and best practices at all times
• Collaborating with team members and management to optimise service delivery

What we're looking for

• A recognised trade qualification or certification in refrigeration, air conditioning, or HVAC systems
• Proven experience working as a Service Technician or in a similar technical role within the trades sector
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions
• A solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration principles
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly with clients of varying technical backgrounds
• Physical fitness and the ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces
• A valid driver's licence and reliability in meeting appointment schedules
• Knowledge of relevant Australian safety regulations and compliance standards
• Experience with service management systems and technical documentation is advantageous
