About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Technician to join our Technical Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing medical equipment while ensuring all technical work is carried out safely and according to established procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and planned maintenance (PPM) on medical equipment.
• Conduct routine inspection, testing, servicing, and repair of medical equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment faults and technical issues.
• Respond to service requests, equipment breakdowns, and technical complaints.
• Conduct functional testing after servicing or repair to ensure equipment performance and safety.
• Prepare and maintain accurate service, maintenance, inspection, and repair records.
• Prepare service reports and other technical documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for technical support, spare parts, and repair matters.
• Monitor equipment condition and report recurring faults or potential technical risks.
• Assist in managing spare parts, tools, and technical equipment.
• Provide basic technical support to relevant departments or users when required.
• Perform other technical duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Diploma, Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Relevant experience in medical equipment servicing, maintenance, repair, or technical support is preferred.
• Experience in PPM, routine inspection, troubleshooting, and technical procedures.
• Knowledge of medical equipment and related mechanical, electrical, or electronic components.
• Able to read and understand technical manuals and service procedures.
• Possess a valid driving licence and willing to travel to customer sites when required.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
