Service Technician

The Service Technician plays a crucial role in our service operations, ensuring that all equipment is serviced, and preventative maintenance is done within company standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of small engines and mechanical assemblies, a keen eye for problem solving, time management and good communication skills. Required to have your own tools and toolbox.

Pay based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform the diagnosis and repair of Kubota and other agriculture, lawn and turf equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Perform general services such as but not limited to oil changes, grease jobs, brakes and suspensions, valves, gasket, and hose repairs, tires, and air leaks.
• Collaborate with the parts department to ensure timely availability of parts for repairs and services.
• Liaise with Operations Manager and Parts Manager to order parts for engine and equipment repairs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules and regulations and government guidelines.
• Keep track of assigned repairs by logging in and out of the Shop workorder system. Self-motivated and dependable.
• Attend service training classes to stay up to date on new products and refresh your knowledge on less encountered ones. Willingness to learn and work as a part of a team.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High School Education
• Demonstrated Forklift experience
• Strong knowledge of engines and their parts.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, be insurable by the company, and can operate a company vehicle in accordance with all state and federal laws, company policies, and guidelines.
