Service Technician

Established in 1996 following the acquisition of City Elevator, TK Elevator Australia, building on the over 200 years of global engineering excellence of our German founding companies Thyssen and Krupp, install, maintain and modernize elevators and escalators in Australia. Reporting to the Service & Renew Manager you will be required to manage the day to day running of your specified area within QLD, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and safely. The main duties will be to attend and reduce breakdowns and maintain the service run. The successful applicant will hold a current electrical licence, and be able to service, repair and attend to breakdowns on various lift systems. You must also have the ability to work independently.

Your Responsibilities:

• Follow management instructions and comply with company procedures
• Action customer complaints or enquiries
• Participate in After-hours call-out roster
• Take remedial action to rectify shutdowns
• Repairs / technical site-specific work
• Annual safety testing
• Call rate/maintenance visits and missed maintenance
• Procurement of parts where required
• Maintenance statement testing
• Ensure GSM is adhered to

Your skills and qualifications:

• Previous lift experience preferred although not essential
• A current Electrical Licence
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Full Driving licence
