Overview

Siding, Window & Gutter Replacement

Project Description: Removal and replacement of existing siding, windows, and gutters to improve the home's appearance, weather protection, energy efficiency, and overall functionality.

Duties

1. Siding Removal & Replacement

• Remove and properly dispose of existing siding and associated materials as needed.
• Inspect exposed areas for visible damage or deterioration.
• Install house wrap or other specified weather-resistant barriers.
• Install new siding, starter strips, corners, J-channel, and necessary trim accessories.
• Properly flash and seal around windows, doors, and other penetrations.
• Ensure siding is installed according to manufacturer specifications.

2. Window Removal & Replacement

• Carefully remove existing windows designated for replacement.
• Inspect window openings for visible damage or deterioration.
• Install new replacement windows, ensuring proper fit, level, and operation.
• Insulate and seal around window openings to reduce air and water infiltration.
• Install or replace exterior window trim and capping as specified.
• Verify proper window operation, locking, and sealing.

3. Gutter Removal & Replacement

• Remove and dispose of existing gutters and downspouts.
• Inspect fascia boards for visible damage or deterioration.
• Install new seamless gutters with appropriate hangers and fasteners.
• Install downspouts, elbows, outlets, and necessary accessories.
• Ensure proper gutter slope and drainage away from the home.
• Securely fasten and seal all gutter connections.

Jobsite Protection & Cleanup

• Protect landscaping, driveways, walkways, and surrounding property during installation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project.
• Remove and properly dispose of all construction debris and old materials.
• Perform a final magnetic nail sweep where applicable.
• Complete a final quality-control inspection and customer walkthrough.

Project Completion

All work will be completed in accordance with applicable building codes, manufacturer installation requirements, and the agreed-upon scope of work. Any unforeseen damage or additional repairs discovered during removal will be communicated to the homeowner for approval before additional work is performed.

Requirements

• Highly motivated
• Valid drivers license with clean driving record
• Basic math skills/able to read a tape measure
• Can comfortably work on a ladder
• References with a good track record

Additional preferred requirements

• Experience installing windows, doors, siding, & gutters
• Aluminum break experience
• Roofing/repairs

Pay: $87,266.43 - $93,274.90 per year
